The purpose of Help Manager is to help retail managers and businesses that schedule work time, hourly.
Employees can be added, their details can be viewed and or edited afterwards. Hours can be scheduled for a given employee and the total hours for the week will be calculated automatically, the break hours will also be calculated automatically depending on the hours scheduled, and it can be reshuffled if need be. A scheduled sheet of a given week can be gotten from database and emailed. The break hours and hours can be viewed.
There might be more functions to add in, I intend to have an interview with one or two retail managers to see if it there might be more functions to put in.
In this project I developed an android application for a Transport Company: Air Coach, Implementing a real time timetable of their static timetable for all routes and each stop in a route. I choose to solve this problem because it is a real life problem; a solution I think the customers using Air Coach Transport might need as the routes they service grows. The goal is to experience what it takes to get a real life problem, research about it, build a solution and implement it.
What this application does is take the estimated arrival time for each start bust-stop, and estimated arrival time from start bus-stop to each bus-stop on the Air Coach website and calculate estimated time for each stop and then start counting down. Live feed of arrival time of bus for each stop from destination to air port and from air port to destination.
